Much fuss has been made of Mr. Kolohe Andino’s recent Visa-and-Pizza-Hut-sponsored barrel ride and pizza delivery at Teahupoo a few weeks ago, and we just wanted to set the record straight. He is not the first.
Oh no. Our favorite Flor-baman shreddah, Sterling Spencer, was making calls from the barrel back in 2008 – somewhere around the time Kolohe was attending his buddy’s Bar Mitzvahs. And a recent Instagram post from Sterling, the world’s current number one surfer, let that be known.
Large with cheese, pepperoni, and sausage.
